Our Trading Policy
Bookish accepts used books for store credit (we do not pay cash). Books are accepted based on condition, demand, and current inventory. We reserve the right to decline any book, including books previously purchased from Bookish.

Trade credit is stored digitally and may be used toward up to 50% of the purchase price of used books. Think of it like a half-off coupon for your next used book purchase!
Books published within the last two calendar years receive an additional $1 in trade credit.
We're happy to review all of your books; however, we are unlikely to purchase the following:

We are unable to accept books that are damaged, including:

Ripped or torn pages, broken bindings, or damaged spines

Water damage, stains, mold, or strong odors (such as smoke or mildew)

Highlighting, writing, underlining, or excessive notes

Hardcover books missing their original dust jacket (if one was originally included)

Textbooks, encyclopedias, and dictionaries

Reader's Digest condensed books or Advance Reader Copies (ARCs)

Titles for which we already have an ample inventory

In addition to our extensive selection of used books, we carry a carefully curated collection of new titles, including bestselling authors, current releases, and reader favorites—all 15% off the cover price. If there's a book you'd like that we don't have in stock, we'll gladly order it for you. We also offer advance ordering for upcoming releases, making it easy to get the books you're excited about as soon as they become available.
